Voices for a Better Future PAC 2024 initiatives

We are more than just words; they are a call to action and a promise for change. We’re dedicated to shaping the destiny of our nation, beginning right here in Ohio, with initiatives that have a national impact. Here’s an in-depth look at our intentions.

1. Amplifying African American Male Vote:

The Challenge: There has been a decline in support for the Democratic Party among Black men in Ohio. This trend is a glaring call to action. The decline in support for Democrats among Black men is a concerning trend. We’ve seen support drop from 95% in 2008 to 80% in 2020.

Our Goal: We aim to conduct a comprehensive study of seven Ohio counties. From this study, we’ll develop a messaging strategy and plan of action to increase African American men’s engagement in the 2024 general election. The information gathered will also serve as a valuable reference for similar efforts nationwide.

2. Engagement Beyond Voting:

The Importance: Real change requires more than just casting ballots. It demands active engagement, community involvement, and a shared vision for a brighter future.

Our Approach: We’re committed to fostering dialogue and community engagement through forums, listening sessions, and partnerships. It’s about creating a sense of unity and shared purpose.

This innovative campaign seeks to engage Black men in meaningful discussions about voting and civic participation, directly within the heart of community spaces—barbershops. As spaces traditionally known for open dialogue and camaraderie, barbershops provide the perfect setting to address misconceptions, encourage informed voting, and empower a key demographic to make their voices heard in upcoming elections.
